These beautiful Shadow Bowls have been in Susannah’s range for several years and I have always been a big fan of their perfectly matt exterior, the undulating rim, and the glossy black interior. These are seriously complex hand-potted works masquerading as simple bowls with regular rims. They're anything but - preferably enjoy them as aesthetic objects rather than for everyday eating.

Meet Susannah Bridges Susannah Bridges is an Auckland based designer best known for her ceramic pieces. Since completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Design at Unitec Institute of Technology, Bridges has exhibited nationally and internationally in art galleries, design stores and sculpture events from 1999. Her work spans furniture, lighting and sculptural work at the intersection of art and design. In 2016 she was a recipient of the 2016 Portage Ceramic Awards.
